VOANLA Expands Veterans Program to Monroe and El Dorado

Volunteers of America North Louisiana (VOANLA) is proud to announce the expansion of its Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program to the Monroe, Louisiana and El Dorado, Arkansas regions. This expansion will extend VOANLA’s continuum of Veteran care, including housing, case management, and supportive services, to an estimated 300 Veterans and their families across North Louisiana and South Arkansas.

Over the years, Volunteers of America North Louisiana has served Veterans through programs such as Safe Haven, Veterans Transitional Living, Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), Veterans Treatment Court, Medical Respite, and SUDs. The expansion of SSVF marks another significant step in ensuring that every Veteran has a safe place to call home and access to the care and resources they deserve.

“Our Veterans have given so much in service to our country,” said Gary Jaynes, Vice President of Veteran Services. “This expansion allows us to reach even more men and women who need support to remain stably housed and connected to critical community resources.”

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program assists Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by providing short-term housing assistance, case management, and financial support. Services are available to eligible veteran households in the newly added Monroe and El Dorado service areas beginning November 2025.

Since its launch, VOANLA’s SSVF program has helped countless Veterans and their families achieve housing stability, self-sufficiency, and renewed hope.
