Camp Glow: LightHouse Summer Program!
Summer 2023 was a lot of fun for our LigthHouse kids! Camp Glow, the four-week summer LightHouse program, took place at Atkins Elementary. Led by the LightHouse staff, it was truly a collaborative effort across many Volunteers of America North Louisiana programs, including Communities In Schools, Youth Behavioral Health, and Choice Neighborhood.
Enrichment activities included dance, field trips, S.T.E.M., a spelling bee content, a talent show, basketball lessons, and an epic glow-in-the-dark party! Also, a special thank you to our community partners, Jubilee Petting Zoo, L.O.V.E on Canvas, and many more for making it a summer to remember!
