The LightHouse
The LightHouse, our quality afterschool and summer program, provides academic, social, and emotional support for children, teens, and families in need.
Here for Every Student
For the 2021-2022 school year, The LightHouse is operating in seven Caddo Parish schools (Atkins Elementary, Creswell Elementary, J.S. Clark Elementary and Westwood Elementary Schools, Broadmoor Stem Academy, Fair Park Preparatory Academy, and Booker T. Washington High School), in addition to our three community sites, the Travis St. LightHouse, Bossier City LightHouse, and Teen Club which is geared towards high school students.
Students not only receive assistance with homework. They also participate in academic and cultural enrichment activities including: ELA, math, STEM, financial literacy, physical fitness, character education, cooking, yoga, drama, and more, many provided through partnerships with other community organizations.
There is no such thing as no homework! – Site Coordinator, the LightHouse.
