The LightHouse, our quality afterschool and summer program, provides academic, social, and emotional support for children, teens, and families in need.

For the 2022-2023 school year, the LightHouse operates inside the following 7 Caddo Parish schools:

Additionlly, the LightHouse operates three community sites:
- Downtown LightHouse, 802 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana
- Bossier City LightHouse, 2101 Scott Street, Bossier City, Louisiana, and
- Teen Club, located in the Highland Center, 520 Olive Street, Shreveport Louisiana
At the LightHouse, students receive assistance with homework and a FREE hot meal! They also participate in academic and cultural enrichment activities including: ELA, math, STEM, financial literacy, physical fitness, character education, cooking, yoga, drama, and more, many provided through partnerships with other community organizations.
There is no such thing as no homework! – Site Coordinator, the LightHouse.
