Teen Club

“Teen Club is way different and a big step, because it is a lot more academics. They make sure your grades are good, so you can start building your future.” – Khoury, Teen Club Graduate

About Teen Club

After the younger kids leave, LightHouse becomes Teen Club. High school students work on homework, plan for future careers, serve the community and support each other.  Teen Club provides a safe haven for high school students to meet positive, encouraging people who will help them get ready for the future.

As of the 2018-19 school year, Teen Club is also operating at Booker T. Washington High School. The original Teen Club still meets in the evenings at the Travis Street LightHouse.

To participate, contact Tocarra Huckaby at Toccara.Huckaby@voanorthla.org.
