Counseling Services – Youth & Adults

Counseling Services are open to any child, adult, or family seeking guidance and support through change, growth, and development in their lives.

Open to any adult (21 years or older), youth (ages 6-20 years), or family who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral health problems and in need of guidance, as well as support through change, growth, and development in their lives.

ADULT OVERVIEW

Services include: Case Management Services, Community Resource Linkage, Crisis Intervention and Management, Custom Tailored Treatment Plan, Individual Therapy, Medication Therapy, and Skill Training.

Our day program, Visions of Hope, provides group socialization and life skills building.

YOUTH OVERVIEW

Services include: Advocacy, Assessment and Individual Planning, Community Resource Linkage, Consultation with Teachers/Staff, Crisis Intervention and Management, Referrals, and Skills Training.

Qualified licensed mental health professionals provide services inside Bossier Parish, Caddo Parish, and Desoto Parish schools

Volunteers of America North Louisiana accepts Medicaid for all community-based services.

Common areas of focus:
Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Self-Esteem, ADHD, Bipolar Disorders, PTSD, and/or Complex Trauma.
Our experienced and compassionate clinicians will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.

For counseling services in our office, we accept self-pay, the trauma recovery grant, VACCN through United Healthcare, and the following private insurance: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Healthcare.
