Volunteers of America firmly believes all people have a right to live as independently as possible. Our organization was among the first in the state to open group homes for people with intellectual disabilities – programs that continue today. Our clients include people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities or those with chronic mental illness. Programs range from day activity centers to support for permanent affordable housing, or whatever it takes to help our clients lead productive lives within the community.
