LWCC Selects Volunteers of America as a 2019 LWCC Safest 70 Award Winner  

Volunteers of America North Louisiana has been selected as a winner of LWCC 2019 Safest 70 Award. Established in 2008, the award honors LWCC policyholders who exemplify the company’s commitment to workplace safety. Volunteers of America is proud to be recognized for its leadership in employee health and wellness.

 

“At Volunteers of America North Louisiana, we are dedicated to the safety and well-being of our employees and clients,” said Jack Parker, building services and logistics manager at Volunteers of America North Louisiana. “Through the efforts of our team, we strive to provide a culture of safety awareness, education, training, and continued policy development. Our focus continues to be quality risk assessment and mitigation, along with the promotion of personal responsibility and accountability, while maximizing our opportunities to reduce incidents and provide a safe workplace.”

 

This is Volunteers of America’s third consecutive year to receive the LWCC Safest 70 Award. “LWCC strives to promote workplace safety to elevate Louisiana one business and one worker at a time,” said Richard Perkins, CSP, LWCC safety services manager. “All of LWCC’s Safest 70 recipients have achieved a higher standard for their company and provided their employees with a culture of workplace safety.”
