Current Openings:

Support Specialist (Shreveport) – The Level Up program serving homeless youth age 18-24 is hiring a Support Specialist that will deliver specialized services to the participants designed to assist clients address educational, employment, and other identified needs that lead to independent living.  The candidate for this position will need to have knowledge of the community education system, job and job-related resources, behavioral health providers and other support resources that assure a healthy lifestyle and community integration.  A bachelor’s degree is preferred, a high school diploma is accepted with several years serving youth with the described supports.  Prior work experience in a program that serves youth 18-24 is required.

Accountant/Financial Analyst (Shreveport) – We are seeking candidates for a full time Accountant/Financial Analyst position.  Essential functions include:  an understanding of government or non-profit accounting and organizational structure; managing systems to review new contracts, renewals and amendments, grants and other documentation related to program and funding compliance requirements; reporting to funding sources; managing accounts receivable systems, including research and collection of unpaid balances; financial statement analysis and distribution to relevant staff and funding sources; and preparation of budgets, financial analysis, and department projections.  Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and a minimum of two years of accounting/finance experience.  Additionally, experience in budgeting, planning and financial analytics preferred.  Remote working is an option.

Mental Health Professional I and II (Caddo, Bossier and Desoto Parishes) – We currently have openings for full and part time school-based Mental Health Professionals I and II in our Youth Behavioral Health Program.  Primary responsibilities include providing supportive counseling, individual intervention, parent/family intervention and crisis intervention for school aged children with mental health and/or behavioral health issues.  Additional duties include collecting data for the initial assessment; conducting face-to-face interviews with the recipient and their family, which shall include school and home visits; providing crises intervention support as needed; and ensuring all records are accurately maintained and all invoicing is submitted in a timely manner.  Minimum requirements for a Mental Health Professional I include a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.  Minimum requirements for a Mental Health Professional II include a master’s degree in counseling or a related field, and full licensure in the State of Louisiana, or individuals in supervision for their license.

Residential Trainer (Shreveport area) – We are seeking candidates for part-time and relief Residential Trainer positions.  Candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.  Residential Trainers ensure the safety and well being of individuals who reside in a residential setting.  Primary responsibilities include providing training to residents; transporting residents to appointments; planning and conducting structured activities; and coordinating with the resident’s Case Manager concerning resident’s progress, including appropriate change to the service plan.  Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; prior work experience in a program that serves persons with intellectual disabilities preferred; CMA certification preferred; and current certification in CPR/First Aid.  Candidates must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
