Child & Adolescent Mental Health Professional (Logansport/Stanley area) – We are seeking to fill a full-time Mental Health Professional position working in the Logansport/Stanley, Louisiana area (Desoto Parish). Primary responsibilities include providing supportive counseling, individual intervention, parent/family intervention and crisis intervention for school aged children with mental health and/or behavioral issues. Additional duties include collecting data for the initial assessment; conducting face-to-face interviews with the recipient and their family, which shall include school and home visits; providing crises intervention support as needed; and ensuring all records are accurately maintained and all invoicing is submitted in a timely manner. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in counseling or a related field; and full licensure in the State of Louisiana, or individuals in supervision for their license.
